Deadlines in another time zone

How to read this list

The official Fantasy Premier League deadline is 90 minutes before the first kickoff of each gameweek, and Gaffer leagues lock 15 minutes after that. Both move when a fixture is rescheduled; the table is rebuilt from the fixture list every few minutes. Open a gameweek for its fixtures, kickoffs and, once played, the top scorers and dream team.

Questions people ask

What time is the FPL deadline in India?

Why does the deadline time in India change during the season?

India stays on IST (UTC+5:30) all year while the UK moves between GMT and BST, so the same UK deadline falls 4 hours 30 minutes later in India during British summer time and 5 hours 30 minutes later in winter. The official deadline is always 90 minutes before the first kickoff of the gameweek, and the table converts each one exactly for its date.

When do Gaffer leagues lock in India time?

Fifteen minutes after the official deadline, so a last-minute change in the official game can still be copied across. The lock time for every gameweek is in the table, in India time.

Where do these times come from?

From the stored fixture list, which is rebuilt every few minutes, so the deadline moves when a kickoff is moved for television. Each row carries the exact instant in UTC for machines.
